Welcome to StressReliefBuddy (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (StressReliefBuddy.com) and our mobile app (StressReliefBuddy).

By using StressReliefBuddy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using our services.

  • StressReliefBuddy is a free, student-created project.
  • The app and website are provided for general wellness and relaxation purposes only. We do not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice. If you have health concerns, please consult a qualified professional.
  • We may update, modify, or remove features at any time without notice.
  1. User Responsibilities

By using StressReliefBuddy, you agree that you will:

  • Use the app only for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • Not misuse, copy, or reverse-engineer our code or content.
  • Not upload harmful, abusive, or illegal content.
  • Not attempt to disrupt or damage our app, website, or servers.

If you break these rules, we may suspend or end your access.

  1. Intellectual Property

All logos, designs, and content in the app and website belong to StressReliefBuddy (unless otherwise noted). You may use them only as part of your personal use of the app.

  1. No Guarantee of Service

We provide StressReliefBuddy “as is” and “as available.”

  • We make no promises that the app will always work perfectly or be free of bugs.
  • We may pause, change, or stop parts of the app at any time.
  • You use StressReliefBuddy at your own risk.
  1. Limitation of Liability

Because this is a free, student-created project:

  • We are not responsible for any harm, loss, or damage that may result from using the app or website.
  • Our total liability to you will never exceed the amount you paid us (which is always $0, since the app is free).

StressReliefBuddy is not intended for children under 18. If you are under 18, please use the app only with permission from a parent or guardian.

How to Delete Your Account in StressReliefBuddy

If you wish to delete your account and remove all your data from our system, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the StressReliefBuddy app.
  2. Go to the “Profile” tab at the bottom navigation bar (icon).
  3. In the Profile Section, scroll down and tap “Delete Account” (icon in red).
  4. A confirmation popup will appear with the message:
    “Your account will be scheduled for deletion.
    If you don’t log in again within 25 days, it will be permanently deleted.
    Do you want to continue?”
  5. Tap “Yes, Delete” to confirm account deletion.
  6. Your account will now be scheduled for deletion.
  • If you log in again within 25 days, your account will be automatically restored.
  • If you don’t log in within 25 days, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted from our database.
  • You’ll be automatically logged out after confirming deletion.
